This is how easy it is to use our Aurora Transit image system. Using a compact scanner, transit checks are imaged and endorsed. Data is sent electronically to your PC and transactions are balanced. Images of transit items, related MICR information and outgoing cash letters are sent securely to the Fed online (through Bankers’ Bank, service bureau or correspondent banks). It’s that easy. How is the data transferred to the Federal Reserve?

Any financial institution - banks and credit unions - can complete an electronic cash letter exchange with any endpoint that accepts the ANSII Fed x937 file format. Depending on your processing arrangement, you may transmit your file to Bankers' Bank, other correspondent banks, a service bureau or directly to the Federal Reserve.
