Flexible Statement Delivery
Your customers can choose the format of their own image statements,
as all options listed below can be modified at the account level:
Number of Image per Page
Front Images Only, or Front and Rear Images
Include or Exclude Deposit Ticket Images
Sorted by Paid Date or Check Number Order
Simplex or Duplex Printing
Truncated Statements (no images printed)
Customers can also receive statements as:
Hard Copy Printouts
E-mail (Internet) Statement Delivery
CD-ROM (one or multiple statements)
Customers receiving statements via CD or email
do not need to purchase special hardware
or software. The viewing/research software is
included on the CD, so the information can be
viewed from any standard PC with a CD-ROM
drive. E-mail statements are sent as encrypted
PDF files.
Customers can also have one statement sent
to them and another copy sent to their CPA,
Trust Account, relative or other approved party.
Duplicate statements can be sent via CD, e-mail
or hard copy.
Statement CDs provide a handy archive for
business customers. One CD may contain a
single statement or multiple statements
for a particular month, quarter or year.
Fixed Software Licensing
(No penalty for success)
CSPI's software license is based on your bank's
asset size at the time you purchase the system.
What does this mean to you? Your company is
not penalized with additional license fees as
you grow.
In addition, we do not charge for new users
who need access to the system. (Other systems
typically charge a fee for each user at the time
of purchase and again as more users are added
down the road.)
Why would we follow this approach? We want
your bank to grow, and if we help you grow
without charging unexpected fees, we believe
you will recommend our system to others.
Independence from Core System
CSPI's Image Processing Solution runs
independently of your core system, and does
not rely on it to make data available to users.
We can import customer information from most
systems, so even if your core has a problem,
customer research is not affected.
Because of our compatibility with most cores,
your bank can change systems, if desired, or
provide image processing services to other
banks regardless of which software they use.

Image Processing
The CSPI Image Processing system consists of
modules that range from basic item processing/
image capture to more advanced applications
such as CAR/LAR, Power Encode, electronic
image exchange, e-mail statements and notices,
browser-based research, email research results,
and enhanced document management. With
additional interfaces, images captured with our
system can be viewed by other products such
as teller research or internet banking systems.
Other CSPI modules include multi-bank processing,
fraud detection, signature verification and
document imaging and tracking.
Our software is a scalable, client/server solution
based on Microsoft's operating system and
database management system. The Windows
interface supports the entire scalable family of
Unisys, NCR and BancTec transports., and we
develop applications using the latest tools and
languages such as Visual C++, and C# (.Net) and
Visual Basic .Net.
Because our software is flexible by design, we
can typically handle any requirements that
you may have. If you have a special request not
currently addressed within the system, we will
provide the new enhancement to you. The
enhancement is then incorporated into the
next general software release for the benefit of
all CSPI customers.
Interfaces
As mentioned, our system is core-independent.
This is because our software maintains openinterface
capabilities, making it compatible with
almost every core product on the market today.
Additionally, with interfaces developed for internet
banking systems, you can provide check
images to your online customers.
Base Modules:
Check Image Module
The heart of our Image Processing system,
the Check Image Module, is the primary
requirement for capturing, imaging and sorting
proof. The Check Image Module has been
developed to interface with many types of
transports including Unisys, NCR and BancTec.
With this module, an institution can capture
MICR and images after encoding work on
a single-pocket proof machine. Or you can
choose CAR/LAR and Power Encode, which
eliminates the need for single-pocket proofing.

All Items Research
Research in CSPI's Image Processing system is
fast and simple. All Items Research can locate any
proof item using a single field of MICR information.
Plus, you have the option to search a range of
information using multiple fields. For example,
you can run a single query for ONUS items with a
tran code between 330 to 334; an account number
between 10041 and 10051; and any amount above
$5000. From this query, all matching items and
images will be returned to the Search Results
screen.
Search results can be sorted by any MICR field,
sequence number or date. On the Search Results
page, you can select a record and click on the
camera icon to view the corresponding image. The
tool bar at the top of the screen gives you the ability
to zoom in, zoom out, flip and rotate the image
for each item. Once you've found your image(s),
you can send the results to a printer. With access
to a mail server, the image(s) and transaction
information can also be bundled into an encrypted,
password-protected Adobe PDF file and e-mailed to
a customer from the research screen.
Click on the Signature Card icon on the toolbar and
a window will pop up which contains the scanned
image of signature/signatures for the corresponding
account number. You can also zoom in, zoom out
and rotate the Signature
Card images.
Research results can be printed or emailed
